What conditions require an in-person visit?
Certain conditions, such as recurring UTIs, pneumonia, COVID/flu/RSV/strep testing, and shortness of breath, require in-person visits to ensure accurate diagnosis and proper care.
Can I start with telehealth and switch to in-person?
Yes, you can begin with a telehealth consultation, and if further evaluation or testing is necessary, we can schedule an in-person visit. Additional charges may apply.
Telehealth Services
How do I schedule a telehealth visit?
Peak Family Health members can schedule through the Member Portal. Non-members schedule through the Non-Members page.
What equipment do I need?
All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a stable internet connection and a camera for video calls.
Can I get prescriptions during telehealth visits?
Yes, if appropriate, your provider can evaluate your symptoms and prescribe medication during telehealth visits, including treatments for migraines, headaches, and ED.
In-Person Visits
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, all in-person visits require an appointment to ensure adequate time for your provider to address your concerns thoroughly.
Are lab tests included?
Lab tests, such as COVID/flu/RSV/strep testing, may incur additional fees depending on the test. Your provider will discuss costs during your visit.
Do you provide home visits?
Yes, but there must always be another adult present before we enter the home. If unavailable, we will bring an adult assistant for safety measures.
Membership Benefits
Are telehealth services unlimited with membership?
No, memberships do not include visits. Members pay for each telehealth visit ($50) and in-person visit ($80) at discounted member rates.
Do membership fees cover all services?
Membership fees cover your monthly membership benefits. Each visit is charged separately at member rates: $50 telehealth, $80 in-person. Lab tests and specific treatments may incur additional charges.
What if you don't offer a service I need?
If a condition or service you need isn't listed, please contact us. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs or refer you to a trusted specialist.
Specialized Care
Do you treat erectile dysfunction?
Yes, telehealth consultations are available for ED treatment, including medication prescriptions if necessary. Treatment is offered discreetly.
What about positive at-home COVID tests?
We can provide guidance via telehealth for mild symptoms. If you require further testing or have severe symptoms, an in-person visit is recommended.
Are GI conditions treatable via telehealth?
Yes, mild GI conditions such as acid reflux or diarrhea can often be managed via telehealth. More severe cases may require in-person evaluation.
Weight Loss Program
How does the weight loss membership differ from regular membership?
Weight loss-only members ($104/month + $50 registration fee) receive weight loss services exclusively. Standard Peak members get weight loss care included with full primary care benefits.
Are monthly appointments really mandatory?
Yes, for both membership types. Missing your monthly appointment will restart your weight loss journey from the beginning.
Do you offer GLP-1 medications like Semaglutide?
Yes, we offer compounded Semaglutide ($195-275/month) and Tirzepatide ($200-375/month) for qualifying patients, with proper medical evaluation.
GI Mapping Services
How does GI mapping work?
It's a 4-step telehealth-only process: Initial Consult ($100), Lab Test Order (~$375 via Rupa Labs), Sample Collection (2 weeks), and Follow-Up Visit ($150 members/$200 non-members).
Can I schedule a follow-up before my initial consult?
No, follow-up appointments can only be scheduled after completing your initial consult and receiving your lab results.
Are GI mapping services available in-person?
No, all GI mapping consultations are conducted via telehealth only for convenience and accessibility.
Chronic Conditions
Do you offer specialized diabetes care plans?
Yes, we provide individual diabetes management plans ($170/month) with specialized care, monitoring, and medication management tailored to your needs.
What about hypertension management?
We offer dedicated hypertension care plans ($170/month) including blood pressure monitoring, lifestyle counseling, and medication optimization.
Can I get both diabetes and hypertension care?
Yes, we can manage multiple chronic conditions. A comprehensive evaluation will determine the best care plan for your specific needs.
Sports Physicals
How much do sports physicals cost?
Sports physicals are $150 for both members and non-members, providing comprehensive athletic clearance examinations.
What's included in a sports physical?
Complete medical history review, physical examination, cardiovascular screening, and completion of required athletic participation forms.
Can sports physicals be done via telehealth?
No, sports physicals require in-person examination to meet athletic participation requirements and ensure comprehensive evaluation.
